Dozens of the people of al-Awda camp and the people of Sherawa district attended the activities of the second day of the cultural week that was performed in al-Awda camp in Sherawa district.
The performances began with holding a minute of silent, and then Sherin Rashid, the Member of the Golden Crescent Movement spoke about the life of the struggler Zilan.
Then, the Martyr Rohinda Band for the Children and the Martyr Berjem Band presented a musical performance. It also exhibited handicrafts created by women, embodying the Kurdish heritage.
It was followed by a theatrical performance by the Martyr Barin Band on violence against women in society.
The Martyr Viyan Soran Band performed the folkloric dance.
The event concluded with holding al-Dabkeh rings.
The festival activities will continue tomorrow in Tel Rifa district of al-Shahba canton.
