2 journalists arrested in northern Kurdistan

The Turkish authorities arrested two journalists in Amed, northern Kurdistan, as part of continuing political genocide operations.

This morning, the Turkish police raided the homes of journalists Nurcan Yalcin and Derya Aws, in Amed, northern Kurdistan, and arrested them without receiving information about the reason for the arrest.

The campaign of arrests against male and female media workers, as well as male and female journalists, has escalated in Turkey and North Kurdistan, where the Turkish authorities arrested 7 free media workers, also in Ankara and Istanbul, on April 23, in continuation of their policies of political extermination.
