Furat and Color Form is unique of its kind in Raqqa city

The co-chair of the Culture and Antiquities Committee in the Democratic Civil Administration of Raqqa Canton confirmed that: “Furat and Loon Forum”, in its second edition, will contribute significantly to enhancing the culture of coexistence, love and peace that we seek, and its goal is to advance and develop the plastic movement.

The activities of the "Furat and Loon" Forum continue in its second edition in the city of Raqqa, with the participation of 30 male and female artists, from various regions of the North and East Syria, who express, through it and through their paintings, the reality and heritage of the region.

Regarding the importance of the forum, ANHA agency held a meeting with the co-chair of the Culture and Antiquities Committee in the Democratic Civil Administration of Raqqa Canton, Hassan Mustafa, who confirmed: “The Furat and Loon Forum is a plastic arts phenomenon that distinguished the city of Raqqa, and its first edition was organized in Raqqa last year.”

Hassan Mustafa explained: “The second edition of the Furat and Color Forum aims to advance and develop the plastic movement through artists interacting with each other and exchanging artistic experiences.”

Hassan Mustafa added: “This forum is a qualitative leap in the city of Raqqa, through the large presence of participating artists from various cantons of North and East Syria.

Mustafa drew attention to the fact that: “Furat and Color Forum will contribute greatly to enhancing and developing artistic taste, through these beautiful paintings that the artists were able to implement at this forum during the past days.”

Mustafa hopes that this forum will be a model that can be presented in more than one canton, and he added: “Such forums will contribute greatly to the development of fine art and enhance its role in monitoring the societal culture that we seek, the culture of coexistence, the culture of love, and the culture of peace through merging These artists are in an atmosphere of harmony and affection on the banks of the Euphrates River.”
