SDF G. Command member confirms; ISIS hides suspicious movements
A member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces revealed that ISIS mercenaries are moving under the guidance of major countries, and explained that ISIS is preparing itself to return from the places where it is secretly active, and that there are goals behind these suspicious movements that it hides.
The recent movements of ISIS mercenaries in central Syria have raised fears of its reappearance on the scene, taking advantage of the international conflicts and regional wars taking place in the Middle East.
Member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Luqman Khalil, evaluated the attacks of ISIS mercenaries that are concentrated in the Syrian desert, and the circumstances of its positioning in the Syrian geography.
Luqman Khalil praised the competence possessed by the people of the region in combating ISIS and their struggle and fight against mercenaries, and said: “No one fought ISIS except for the people of this region.”
The Syrian Democratic Forces eliminated the dream of ISIS mercenaries of establishing the so-called “Islamic Caliphate” on March 23, 2019, by ending its spatial control in its last enclave in the town of al-Baghouz in Deir ez-Zor.
Luqman Khalil warned of the return of ISIS mercenaries, and pointed out that the world has committed major mistakes, considering that the threat of ISIS has disappeared: “Yes, ISIS has lost control over the geography, but it has projects and carries extremist ideas that do not represent religion and do not take into account human rights, and this ideology that it wants to spread exists to destroy the will of humans and making slaves of them.
ISIS has become a tool and means used by regional and international parties
Khalil explained that ISIS has become a tool and means used by regional and international bodies to implement their interests and agendas and extend their influence and control over the region through ISIS, he stressed: “ISIS is not finished after it was geographically eliminated, and the world must be aware of this fact and see it.”
Khalil revealed: “ISIS is reorganizing itself in the places where it is active, and it does all of this secretly. It hides its presence on purpose. It does not move in groups, and there are goals behind these suspicious movements that it hides.”
Khalil also pointed out that there is a major force helping ISIS: “There is someone who directs it, gives it orders, and shows it the way.”
Luqman Khalil said: “ISIS groups are moving comfortably in the areas controlled by the Damascus government, especially the Subkha south of Raqqa Canton, Albukamal and Palmyra, all the way to the Homs border. The evidence of this is that ISIS carried out major attacks against Damascus government points 4 times within one month.”
Regarding the way ISIS moves, Khalil explained that ISIS mercenaries know the areas in which they move, and these areas are under the authority of the Damascus government. He said: “The regime is unable to respond to protect its main center, until it can respond and control an area far from its main center, Damascus.”
Regarding the reasons for the effectiveness of ISIS and its activity in the areas of the Damascus government, Khalil said: “We see how innocent people are killed by ISIS, without mercy, while they go to collect truffles. This means that ISIS is in actual control of that region, and in order not to reveal its locations, it kills everyone.” Who dares to go to its areas?
Khalil held the Damascus government responsible for the killing of civilians: “ISIS builds its system and imposes its rules through fear. So far, more than 100 innocent people have been killed. Who is responsible and who bears responsibility for that? It is the Damascus government.”
Khalil pointed out the widening gap in targeting operations carried out by ISIS mercenaries in areas under the control of the Damascus government, and said: “There is movement by ISIS in our regions as well, but the world says that it does not exist after it was eliminated in al-Baghouz. This talk is baseless, and ISIS "It moves under the guidance of major powers."
Khalil noted that during ISIS’s attack on al-Sina’a Prison, the extent of its organization and the extent of its hidden strength became apparent, and he said: “They could be waiting for the opportunity to seize it, or waiting for instructions, and when the time comes, they will take action.”
Luqman Khalil highlighted the attempt of some parties to attack the security and stability of Deir ez-Zor, and said: “Because the Syrian Democratic Forces undermined the influence of the agendas of some parties, and when they were unable to confront them, they used to activate ISIS under different names.”
Luqman Khalil drew attention: “These matters are very striking. These are new methods. ISIS, which has restricted its movement, appeared in the form of groups under the name (the Tribal Army), and their record and history are full of crimes, and they have shed the blood of the people of the entire region. Therefore, when they entrust the mission to ISIS to destabilize security and stability, it is moving quickly, and these people not only pose a danger to our people, but to the entire world, and everyone must bear their responsibilities.”
Khalil wondered how a person coming from Europe could come to Syria, receive training, carry weapons, and fight immediately. Where did he receive all this training?
Khalil stressed that the world is turning a blind eye to the ISIS file, and Khalil also praised the struggle of the peoples of the region shoulder to shoulder to end this threat represented by ISIS: “We have ended this danger that was threatening the world. The worst people from all over the world came and joined the ranks of ISIS after the doors were opened for them and they guided them.”
Khalil noted: “There is great pressure on the region, and this is what is happening before the eyes of the world. All the places and centers that produce the living necessities for our people, such as gas, electricity, and water, have been targeted.”
Khalil denounced the world's silence regarding these targets and the failure to express clear positions, and said: "These positions are one of the reasons why ISIS has the audacity to organize itself again."
Leader Luqman Khalil confirmed that the Syrian Democratic Forces: "are guerrilla fighters, and we will carry out our duty and responsibilities towards our people to the fullest."
