The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the launch of the second batch of Syrian mercenaries from the “National Army” of the Turkish occupation state, and Turkish intelligence is supervising their transfer to Niger.

The second batch, numbering 250 mercenaries, set off for Turkey yesterday, all of them from the “Sultan Murad Division,” as they are scheduled to remain inside Turkish territory to undergo a moral rehabilitation course, and will then be transported via a transport plane to Niger, similar to the first batch that left last April 20, bringing the number of mercenaries who have gone so far to 550.

According to the sources, some leaders of mercenary groups affiliated with the Turkish occupation state are still inviting people from inside and outside those groups to go fight in Niger and offering monthly salaries of $1,500 in an attempt to exploit the living conditions that people suffer from in the areas occupied by Turkey in northwestern Syria.

The Turkish occupation state continues to exploit the living conditions in the areas it occupies in northern Syria, with the aim of recruiting more of its mercenaries to participate in military operations outside Syrian territory.

Last April 21, a batch of “National Army” mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish occupation state set off on board a transport plane that departed from one of the bases in Turkey and carried on board 300 mercenaries from the “Sultan Suleiman Shah Division, the Hamza Division, and the Sultan Murad Division,” led by one of the defected officers of Damascus government forces, who previously supervised mercenary groups during the operations in Libya and Azerbaijan
