Popular condemnation of  isolation on leader Ocalan in Jazera Canton

The city of Derik witnessed a march denouncing the decisions of the Turkish authorities against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and his continued detention. Including hundreds of the city’s residents, hundreds of residents of the cities of Girke legê, Çil Agha and Tal Koçer.

The march toured the Korneesh Street, during which participants chanted slogans: “Physical freedom for leader Abdullah Ocalan,” “There is no life without the leader.”

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Council in Girke Legê, Idris Ahmed, touched on the importance of the leader Abdullah Ocalan’s philosophy for them and the oppressed peoples, how it spread in the world, and the expansion of the scope of those demanding the leader’s physical freedom.

He stressed the continuation of the struggle to achieve the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Tal Koçer Council member, Ali Obaid, condemned the silence of international human rights and humanitarian forces and organizations regarding Turkey’s violation of international laws and norms

regarding political detainees.

He pointed out that the people of North and East Syria, who were inspired by the ideas of leader Abdullah Ocalan, were not complacent in remaining in the squares until achieving leader’s  physical freedom.

The march  ended with a demand for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, by chanting, “There is no life without the leader.”
