Aleppo people denounce isolation imposed on leader Ocalan

The residents of Ashrafieh neighborhood in the city of Aleppo denounced the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan in Imrali prison, and stressed that the Turkish state wants to exterminate the Kurds.

In connection with the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and preventing his family and lawyers from visiting him, the correspondents of our agency ANHA monitored the opinions of the people of Ashrafieh neighborhood in the city of Aleppo in this regard.

The citizen Muhammad Suleiman said: "We, the people of Aleppo, condemn the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we do not accept these plans and policies carried out by the Turkish state against our leader, and against the Kurdish people."

Suleiman also stressed: "We will foil all fascist schemes and policies, and we will resist the Turkish occupation with our unity and the philosophy of the leader Ocalan. Today, the enemies of the Kurds are fighting them with all brutal methods in Afrin, Başûr and Bakur Kurdistan to annihilate them."

For his part, the citizen Ramzi Muhammad pointed to Turkey's goal of imposing strict isolation on the leader, and not to allow his family and lawyer to visit him in Imrali prison. He said: "Isolation's aim is to keep the leader away from us, but his thought is cultivated in our minds. We are the disciples of the leader, and he is our will, our thoughts and our lives. We do not want life without him."

Ramzi appealed to the international organizations that advocate for human rights to stop the practices of the Turkish state against the leader, and lift the isolation and release him.

As for the citizen Roha Hamdi, she said: "If we go back to history, we will find that the Kurds were always targeted by the Ottoman Empire, and it wanted to annihilate them. We will make all efforts to lift the isolation and release the leader."
