Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria congratulates Mother's Day

Today, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement to public opinion, in which it congratulated all mothers of North and East Syria on Mother’s Day, which read:

“Our people’s revolution was characterized by enhancing the historical effectiveness of everything that had been neglected and denied, as this neglect came at the expense of preventing the development of society’s will. Today, as we engage in a historical battle in its important and fateful stages, we must remember together the mother/woman, as she is the solid foundation for forming the family and building it and thus building society. The mother is the solid foundation of the society struggling for its decision and will, and she is the sacrificer, as well as the fighter, because she left behind her, and still continues, in the history of our revolution, an important imprint on the path of our people’s struggle.

On the thirteenth of May, “Mother’s Day” in NE Syria is the day that expresses the mother’s leadership and revolutionary role in building society and striving to build its decision and freedom. It is part of a great value that no matter how much is presented to honor the mother, it does not give her the right she deserves. On this day, we extend our congratulations to all the mothers of NE Syria of all components.

We congratulate the mothers of our martyrs and their families, who left behind a revolutionary process measured by the size and value of the transformation revolution that our people began in 2004, where they sacrificed, gave and contributed to work and organizing. Thus, the mother/woman deserved on this day a historical commemoration for her symbolism and leadership.”
