Qamishlo people : ' Turkey will not remain in Afrin'

The throats of the thousands of people of Qamishlo echoed the slogan " Erdogan is Murderer" on the first anniversary of the Turkish army's occupation of Afrin, in which they stressed that Turkey would not remain in Afrin and all international institutions responsible for Afrin attacks.

On January 20, 2018, all components of the Syriac, Armenian, Arab, Kurd and Chaldean peoples demonstrated in the streets of northern and eastern Syria and condemned the Turkish occupation of Afrin.

In Qamishlo city, thousands of people gathered at 11:00 am at the Roundabout of Entreria in Qador Bek Neighborhood, where all shop owners closed their shops.

The demonstration began with the slogans " Death to Erdogan", and "Long Lived the Resistance of the People of Northern and Eastern Syria," and headed towards the Sony Roundabout, and stopped there to hold speeches.

Abed al-Karim Saroukhan the joint presidency of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration denounced the Turkish occupation and said , "All international institutions are responsible for Afrin attacks.
