Hunger strikers: We will continue our activities for freedom of Ocalan

The Star Conference, in coordination with the Democratic Union Party in Ad-Darbasiya district, organized the hunger strike, in solidarity with parliamentarian Leyla Guven and demanding the freedom of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, with the participation of hundreds of residents of the region.and Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interviews with number of the people who comfirmed their solidarity with Leyla Guven .

The citizen Mohammed Khalaf, who is from Ad-Debasiya district, said : Recently, the  president of the Turkish occupation of the threat of attacks on Noth Syria 's areas ,and the reasons for these threats are Erdogan's fear of the democratic nation and the approach of the leader Ocalan in the coexistence and brotherhood of peoples."

"The conspiracy against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan in 1999, with the participation of many countries, failed to undermine the will of the Kurdish people and their strong will. Despite the arresting of our leader, we are basing ourselves on his philosophy," Khalaf said.

Khalaf pointed out that the revolution of Rojava had won by virtue of the martyrs' blood and the resistence of SDF's fightres and (YPG and YPJ), and that Erdogan through his threats to the northern regions of Syria aims to obstacle the campaign to defeat terrorism.

"We will not stand idly by," he said. "We will continue our activities and solidarity with parliamentarian Leyla Guven until the liberation of the leader Ocalan from fascist prisons."

In the same context, the citizen, Masjaj Haj Mansour spoke "We all know that the Turkish state for decades has been fighting the Kurdish issue and has carried out a conspiracy with the participation of a number of countries and arrested the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, but despite his arresting, he is free among our people, we here in Rojava have achieved many victories by virtue of the thought and philosophy of the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan. "

He pointed out that Erdogan, through his threats  on North Syria 's areas aims to revive the terrorist IS gangs in the area , the Turkish occupation state is fighting the democratic nation's project in area , all these victories that we achieved in Rojava by virtue of the thought and philosophy of the leader Ocalan and sacrifices of our martyrs, and the Turkish state's politics against the right of politicians to violate state laws."
