The Turkish occupation state escalated its statements by launching attacks on the north-east regions of Syria. These statements aroused discontent among the residents. The statement of the Women's Committee in the Legislative Council:

"We denounce and condemn the Turkish aggression on our land and our country, which sacrificed for its freedom hundreds of its sons and daughters, in order to live a free and dignified life.

We believe that we will be able to achieve freedom if we unite and confront the Turkish aggression, so we appeal to all people to cooperate and unite. "
