The SDF started the redeployment operation from the contact areas east of Aleppo this morning, based on an official announcement issued by the forces’ command yesterday.

SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi stated in a tweet on his official X account that the decision to redeploy forces from the contact areas, which have been under attack for the past two days, would begin at 07:00 this morning.

Abdi added that the decision was made "based on calls from friendly countries and mediators, and as a gesture of goodwill toward completing the integration process and adhering to the implementation of the provisions of the March 10 Agreement."

Meanwhile, ANHA correspondent reported that SDF movements have been observed since early this morning, in line with the announced redeployment operation.
