Al-Karama bid farewell martyr Osama al-Sheikh

The residents of al-Karama area and its villages bid farewell one of its sons, the martyr Osama al-Sheikh who martyred while he was performing his national duty to preserve the safety and security of the people on August 19 to his final resting place at the Martyr Sivdar Shrine.

The ceremony was attended by the residents of al-Karama area and its villages, as well as the representatives of the civil and military institutions.

The mourners gathered at the entrance of al-Karama area, awaiting the arrival of the martyr Osama's convey to head then towards Sivdar Shrine in al-Jedidat town.

The ceremony began with holding a minute of silence. It was followed by presenting a military parade by the Women Protection Units and the People Protection Units. After that, a speech was delivered on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Institution by the member Ibrahim al-Masri and the commander in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Luqman Khalil as they offered condolences to the families of the martyr and praised the martyrs and their sacrifices in order to live a dignified life far from injustice, and pledged to follow their path to achieve justice and safety in the area.

After the speeches were delivered, the martyrdom’s document was read by the Martyrs' Families Institution and it was handed over to the relatives of the martyr.
