Ministry of Higher Education moves to unify university administration in Hasakah, Raqqa

In a statement, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that it is continuing to take the necessary measures to address the challenges faced by university students in Hasakah Governorate, ensuring the protection of their academic rights and their gradual integration into the higher education system.

As part of this effort, the Ministry plans to unify the academic administration in Hasakah Governorate by making all colleges and institutes in the province part of Al-Furat University – Hasakah Branch, in line with its vision of strengthening the unity of higher education and providing students with a stable academic environment.

The initiative also includes Al-Sharq University in Raqqa Governorate, which was recently incorporated into Al-Furat University – Raqqa Branch as part of the broader effort to unify the academic administration of educational institutions across the region.

The Ministry stressed that these measures support the state's policy of unifying academic degrees, ensuring their academic recognition, and facilitating student transfers between public universities, thereby protecting students' rights and securing their academic future.
