Aisha Hesso: After 7 years of revolution, 3rd line proved to be successful

Aisha Hesso’s speech came during an activity organized by PYD in Tel Tamer area in al-Hasaka canton, north of Syria on the 15th anniversary of the party’s establishment under the motto, “With the Resistance of the Age’s Spirit, We Congratulate the 15th Anniversary of PYD’s Establishment.”

The administrators and members of the party in Tel Tamer area in addition to dozens of the residents attended the meeting.

The administrator in the party Othman Khalil congratulated the 15th anniversary of their party’s birth in the beginning of the meeting and noted that they will continue their struggle following the footsteps of the martyrs who sacrificed their life for the sake of the their people’s freedom.

Then, Aisha Hesso touched upon the developments that are witnessed in the area and said, “During the Syrian crisis, PYD’s basis of struggle has been the demands of the Syrian people of freedom and democracy, especially after the external countries interfered in the Syrian crisis and the sides that pretend to be opposed to the Syrian regime took sides with those foreign sides. Sooner or later, they would be related to the foreign agenda.”

Aisha Hesso added, “Whoever call themselves to be the opposition have chosen since the first day to strike and do serious damage, and this has been clear over the Syrian revolution’s age. They weighted militarization’s choice without any gesture, solution or even political dissertation for solving the Syrian crisis.”

Aisha Hesso continued, “But we have adopted the 3rd line and chosen the way of the fraternity of peoples’ ideology. We used to live with co-existence peacefully. After 7 years of the crisis, the theory of the line that we have adopted proved to be successful efficiently.”

Aisha who was born in Afrin pointed out, “Turkey and the countries that supported it dedicated all their economic, social, political and military powers with all destructive weapons during the attack on Afrin city in order to undermine the democratic project, but the legendary resistance made in Afrin emptied the Turkish conspiracy of its content and that was what it gained; the economic and political deficits.”

 Aisha Hesso noted that the failure of the external conspiracy in Geneva, Astana, Sochi and others is a step by the foreign troops to prolong the Syrian crisis’ age to preserve their interests on the land amid breaking out battles among those forces on the Syrian area and the entry of all the sides in the line.”

Aisha Hesso stressed that they, in PYD, would continue their struggle on the principle of freedom, democracy and peoples’ fraternity in addition to defending their people and protecting the gains that they have achieved.”
