Daily bombing of rural Afrin, Shahbab during the month of August

The villages and countryside of Shara and Sherawa districts in occupied Afrin, and the villages of al-Shahba canton, were subjected, during the month of August, to continuous bombardment by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

The daily bombardment targeted dozens of the populated villages of Afrin and al-Shahba; This resulted in material damage to the people’s property, in addition to the injury of a civilian in al-Shahba canton.

The bombing particularly affected a number of villages in Shara and Sherawa districts in Afrin canton, in addition to a number of villages in al-Shahba canton. The villages and towns that were affected by the bombing are: Mara’anaz, Al-Malikiyah, the hill of the martyr Khabur, Shawargha, Alqamieh, Tal Jibrin, Tal Anab, Ain Degna, Manakh and Suganki. Suqia, Zufian, Qantari, Tal Mayassa, Ziwan, Kira, Saali, Teneb, Radar, Tat Marash, Klotia Hill, Sheikh Issa, Bailunia, Taan, Granada, Harbel, Sheikh Kaif, Shaala, Khirbet Shaala, Mafraq and Al-Irshadiya. Qas Tower, Tal Madiq, Tal Rifaat, Al Mushairfa, Jabal Naif, Benny, Deir Jamil, Sheikh Hilal and Kafr Anton.

The Turkish occupation army used mortars, Ops, Dushka weapons and tank shells in the bombing operations.

The daily bombing coincided with the continuous flight of Turkish UAVs over the sky in the region.
