Kobanî people: We will not abandon inch of our land

On 28 October, the Turkish occupation army shelled the villages of Zormixar, Siftek, Çariqlî and Xereb Eto west of Kobanî city. The shelling lead to the martyrdom of the soldier of the Self-Defense Force, Mohammed Houti in addition to inflicting financial damage to the civilians' property.

The residents of Kobanî city said, "We will not allow the Turkish occupation state to occupy one inch of the territory of Kobanî whatever it cost us" 

The citizen Zahra Nabo pointed out that Erdogan was bombing their villages for no reason and asked why is Erdogan attacking us? "As we liberated Kobanî from IS mercenaries, we will liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries," she said, adding that "we do not want to do what he wants, he does not know the Kurds well and does not know that we will not abandon an inch of our land."

The citizen Shaukat Oso of the village of Qumlix said, "Erdogan is afraid of the victories of our troops against IS mercenaries in Deir ez-Zor: therefore, he is attacking our villages and areas. We are telling Erdogan that his attacks will not frighten us and we are ready for everything, our women, our children, our elders and our youth are ready to defend their land,"

The citizen Maher Kobanî said, "We, as the youth of Kobanî, do not recognize the borders, and will not allow the Turkish occupation state to occupy our land, and we will defend until the last drop of our blood.

The people of Kobanî at the end of their talk confirmed that they will not abandon their land whatever it cost them, and they will not allow Turkey and others to enslave the Kurdish people.
