People's municipality opened in al-Kisra

The members and the joint presidency of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, the Municipality and Environment Body in al-Jazeera canton, the members of the people's municipality in al-Kibar and al-Basira towns, and the members of the Women House in al-Jazrat attended the ceremony.

During the cermony, the co-chair of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council Ghassan al-Youssef congratulated the people on the opening of the municipality, and all workers on the World Workers' Day.  Ghassan al-Youssef referred to the role and functions of the municipality in serving the society and its role in meeting all the needs related to the works of the municipality.

 The two co-chairs of the people's municipality in al-Kisra Hanaa al-Mousa and Ghiyath al-Ajeel said, "We congratulate our people on the opening of the municipality and today, after our areas have been liberated from IS mercenaries, we must preserve the environment and restore the city's splendor. Furthermore, the municipality would work with its entire powers to serve the people.”

After the speeches completed, the co-chair of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council Leila Hassen cut the opening ribbon.
