The city witnessed a new protest this evening, during which residents blocked the international M4 highway to voice their demands to the relevant authorities and express their rejection of continued price increases and the lack of tangible solutions to ease the burden on residents.

The protesters are calling for lower fuel and basic commodity prices, tighter market controls and measures to curb inflation. They stressed that rising fuel prices directly affect various aspects of daily life, from transportation costs to the prices of goods, commodities and services.

Residents said declining purchasing power, coupled with rising prices, has made it increasingly difficult to meet daily needs. They called for urgent measures to ease the burden on citizens and improve the city’s economic and living conditions.
