Farmers on frontlines deterred by Turkish Occupation Forces

Arrival by the so-called ''Syrian National Army'' to the outskirts of the Zarghan District, to the north of Tal Tamr, in Hasaka, after the occupation by Turkish Occupation Army of Sere Kaniye last year, have caused great losses and damages to people in the region on all arenas. 

After their seasonal crops were on fire last year, this time people in the occupied areas are unable to plough and seed their lands, because they have been targeted by live ammunition at the hands of occupiers.

People in the Zarghan District and adjacent villages depend primarily on agriculture and livestock, that are the main two living sources.

Co-chair of the Agriculture Committee in the district of Zarghan, Sozdar Biro, touched upon situation in the area, and the negative effects that were caused by Turkish Occupation Army and the affiliated mercenaries, saying '' Turkish Occupation Forces and the pro mercenaries took over vast spaces of fertile hands in the Zarghan District, on which many people fled the area, as mercenaries took all their belongings and properties, and that people are afraid to plough their lands for many have been targeted with live bullets by the so-called Syrian National Army affiliated to Turkish Army.     

Biro mentioned that all necessary needs have been provided to farmers in the area, such as permits, seeds and fuels by the Agriculture Committee.
