Transitional Govt. Forces violate ceasefire again in Sweida

ANHA correspondent reported that the Transitional Government forces in Syria today targeted Walgha village, the vicinity of al-Khadr housing, and al-Omran roundabout northwest of Sweida using heavy weapons.

He added that the National Guard forces intercepted several drones attempting to reach the city to strike certain points. No casualties or injuries have been reported from the latest attacks.

This comes less than 24 hours after another ceasefire violation by the Transitional Government forces in Sweida, when the al-Majdal axis was targeted with heavy weapons.

Prior to that, the National Guard shot down a drone belonging to the Transitional Government forces near the Naql checkpoint on the al-Omran roundabout – Walgha road.

Since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Sweida last July, the Transitional Government forces and allied armed groups have violated the agreement multiple times, in repeated attempts to expand their military control, while the National Guard has continued to repel these attempts.

Meanwhile, the region is suffering from a tight blockade, preventing the entry of food, medicine, and fuel, which has caused severe humanitarian crises.
