Imrali delegation warns of fake statements attributed to leader Ocalan

The delegation called on the public to exercise caution and to rely solely on statements and documents issued by the delegation itself, Ocalan’s lawyers, or members of his family.

In the statement, the delegation emphasized: “We had previously released a statement dated July 14, 2025. We reiterate that the recent publications under the title ‘Notes from a Meeting with Mr. Abdullah Ocalan’ are entirely false and bear no relation to the truth whatsoever.”

The statement added: “These claims are pure fabrications and intentional distortions. The information has been manipulated, taken out of context, and falsely linked to certain individuals and events, then wrongly attributed to Mr. Abdullah Ocalan.”

The delegation clarified that such attempts are aimed at undermining efforts toward a political solution and constructive dialogue, seeking instead to create confusion and reframe Mr. Ocalan’s name within a misleading narrative.

The statement reiterated a firm warning to the public: “Do not rely on any documents or information disseminated outside official channels — which are limited exclusively to releases by the Imrali Delegation, Mr. Ocalan’s lawyers, or his family members.”

The delegation concluded by calling on all parties to remain vigilant and discerning when confronted with such fabricated claims, urging them not to fall prey to disinformation campaigns aimed at derailing the path of peace and dialogue.
