Professor Tayseer Abdul Jabbar Al Alusi, Secretary-General of the Arab League for the Promotion of the Kurdish Cause, confirms that the reality of today's conflict in the region is evident in the presence of a Turkish leadership that believes in reviving its Ottoman empire via Muslim Brotherhood and adopting the approach of the exclusion as much as possible, as did these powers with the trick of the (the coup d'état), which contributed to confiscate of rights and freedoms internally and by escalating its aggression, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Professor Tayseer Abdul Jabbar Al Alusi statements came during an interview held by ANHA agency, talking about the importance of the Kurdish-Arab Alliance, the most important thing required for the development of unity was the adoption of a logic of respect for pluralism, diversity, the principles of equality and justice that would enable all parties to overcome certain obstacles and differences in detail
The dialogue reads as follows:
How do you assess the Arab - Kurdish coalition in NE, Syria, which was founded after the outbreak of the revolution in Syria, and which culminated in the formation of the AANES and the Syrian Democratic Forces, which liberated the geography of the region from Daesh/ISIS?
At the onset of my speech, I welcome with ANHA agency, wishing all the best in conducting a media address confirming the commitment to the unity of the Kurd and their strategic alliance with the Arab in order to achieve the principle of peaceful coexistence among all peoples through the diversity of nationality and human existence. My firm confidence that substantive discourse is the origin of every successful step towards emancipation, liberation, fulfilment of rights, the empowerment of peace, the movement for development and progress as a substitute for what the forces of war and destruction are trying to impose.
Back to the question
At first glance, many of the complexities of the projects taking executive path will come to light, and therefore one person monitoring the general situation cannot make an appropriate real assessment. The fact is that the Arab - Kurdish alliance has been rooted not only in the realities of the ordinary day but also in the historical and geographical depth in which the two peoples coexisted.
The birth of AANES, together with the birth of numerous alliances between the Arab-Kurdish nationalists, confirmed the strategy and stability of the coalition and reinforced the growing path on the ground of the formation of Kurdish Arab forces, which were clearly able to deal with the scourge of new Ottoman Janissary and the brutality of their interventions and aggression. In so doing, relations and the foundation of their alliance with blood defied the aggressive barbaric systems and delusions of Erdogan's forces.
With renewed movement in the region, the birth of forms of formation of the Arab-Kurdish coalition alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces, SDF, had been emerged, as in the Arab-Syrian Alliance and exclusively with the secular and democratic forces, has become an investment in the right direction for international forces; I say that it has become the deepest expression of the strategic alliance and the strongest and most effective training on the way to independence and liberation.
I highly appreciate the glamour of the Arab-Kurdish Alliance, which is a structure with a successful approach to peace, development and progress that protects all forces on the basis of equality and liberation and the system of respect for diversity and pluralism on the basis of humanity and action. It can thus defend the triumph of the coalition against all forms of terrorism and protect peaceful coexistence and enable it to build and advance life.
How can the Arab-Kurdish coalition be protected in the north and east of Syria, which is a core for a strategic alliance in all Syria?
The birth of the work formations that embody this alliance does not fulfil the task of protecting, developing and strengthening it, but opening in-depth dialogues and adhering to being the only natural path to resolving the obstacles that may be invented in the face of the alliance will be the first means of protecting it, and of course increasing awareness of the data of historical experiences, and how disintegration was a way to challenge both The two peoples and the two nations, and how the response was strong and empowered, when joint action was the actual essence of victory
What is needed of Kurdish and Arab political forces to develop unity between Kurds and Arab in both Iraq and Syria?
What is most needed for the development of unity is the adoption of a logic of respect for pluralism, diversity, the principles of equality and justice, which will enable all parties to overcome certain shortcomings and differences in detail, and to overcome the current realities of the strategy of the coalition.
We need to join hands together, not to race on this one or the other. We need to leave behind the logic of the spoils that is being exploited by the foes, we need to make sure that what one side wins is a victory for the other, especially with a deep human consciousness, a shared human unity based on peaceful coexistence and an understanding of the experiences of the thousands of years and years of history.
In both Iraq and Syria, the unity of Kurdistan and its national depth must be remembered for its historic Kurdish presence, which is based on bold struggles and its extension to a human depth that is further open to Arab territory, and certainly on ethnic and religious nationalism and the outcome of the coalition's output as a force of all sides.
I have full confidence in the triumph, progress and strength of this trend, in the awareness of the public itself.
Officially, many issues are resolved jointly, such as water quota issues between the two countries and the Kurdistan region with their extensions, trade and economic cooperation, as well as agriculture and energy, as well as many other projects. All these formal matters are not derived from a vacuum, but rather have historical stretches and depth of relations preserved by history and recognized by those concerned, some of whom will not continue to neglect and benefit from the experiences and will not stop.
The co-chair of the Kurdistan Communities Union, KCK, told Al- Nahar Newspapers that the Arab - Kurdish coalition would stop the new Ottoman dreams of the Turkish state.
He confirmed that the reality of today's conflict in the region is evident in the presence of a Turkish leadership that believes in reviving its Ottoman empire via Muslim Brotherhood and adopting the approach of the exclusion as much as possible, as did those powers with the trick of the (the coup d'état), which contributed to confiscate of rights and freedoms internally and by escalating its aggression, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Both Arab and Kurds have therefore found themselves faced not only with threats and blackmail, but also with crimes of aggression, violation of sovereignty and the right to live in peace and security.
How to promote the birth of the alliance that exists in the first place? The first is the Kurdish National Conference, the strengthening of the unity of the Kurdistan Powers and the study of ways to meet a popular Confederal that opens up the Conference of the Peoples of the Middle East with its plurality and diversity and builds an institutional structure for the Arab-Kurdish Alliance, both at its political levels and at its existing and available levels and in the field dealing with the paths of construction, development, independence and sovereignty.
This institutional structure of the Alliance will then be the jewel of repulsing aggression, securing sovereignty, the triumph of freedoms and the right to self-determination, free from the illusions and approaches of the Turkish leadership, and hidden until the arrival of the 2023 barrier known for its purposes!
In conclusion, I would like to thank you for raising the profile of this issue and for strengthening the voice of the call for the convening of pluralist national and humanitarian forums for the peoples of the region in order to bring about coexistence and the formation of a strategic alliance.
I am personally with my colleagues in the Arab Community to stand up for the Kurdish cause, for example, as a major regional organization to carry out the projects of holding those conferences as a brave tool for the fighters, our peoples and our nations on the path to freedom and victory. "
