A fire broke out today in Mishraq village in the countryside of al-Darbasiyah, causing the burning of around 40 dunams of wheat, in addition to damage to an area planted with fennel.

According to available information, the fire started during harvesting operations due to a spark emitted from a combine harvester, which led to the ignition of flames and their spread to adjacent agricultural lands.

Villagers quickly intervened to extinguish the fire before the arrival of firefighting teams, managing to bring it under control and limit its spread. This helped reduce the extent of the losses and prevented the fire from reaching additional agricultural areas.
