30 Syrian refugees settled in occupied Girê Spî

Yesterday, a local source from the occupied Girê Spî canton reported that the Turkish occupation authorities handed over 30 Syrian refugees to their mercenaries from the military police through the border gate to settle them in homes of the forcibly displaced.

According to the source, the deportees are from "the villages of the countryside of Aleppo, Idlib, and Hama."

ANHA agency has documented the settlement of more than 2,500 Syrian refugees in the occupied Girê Spî canton, since the beginning of the forced deportation of Syrian refugees from Turkish lands towards the occupied areas of Syria, during the past three months.

While the number of settlers who were deported to the occupied Girê Spî canton since the Turkish officials, led by Erdogan to one million Syrian refugees to more than 24 thousand settlers.

The Turkish occupation state has recently accelerated the deportation of Syrian refugees to resettle them in the occupied Syrian territories, including Girê Spî canton, within the framework of the policy of demographic change, taking advantage of the international silence that prolongs the Syrian crisis and exacerbates the suffering of the forcibly displaced from their areas.

Worth to note that the number of forcibly displaced people from the occupied Girê Spî canton since 2019 has reached more than 200,000 out of 170,000 of its original inhabitants, and this statistic is one year after the occupation, as displacement operations continue on a daily basis in light of the deteriorating living conditions and security chaos in those areas.
