Diplomatic efforts of political parties for leader Abdullah Ocalan freedom

In the context of the campaign "Freedom of Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue," launched on 10 October last year, the Syrian initiative for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan began on the 14th of this month, visiting political parties in North and East Syria.

In its tour, which continued until the twenty-sixth of this month, the initiative visited 33 Kurdish, Arab, Syriac and Assyrian parties, and during its visits it shed light on the struggle against the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan, seeking to know the parties’ position on it.

Their representatives referred to their diplomatic and media activities in order to disseminate the ideas of leader Ocalan and to achieve his physical freedom.

Valuable messages

The spokesman for the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, Farzunda Munther, spoke to ANHA's agency about the visit to the initiative and the interlocutors of the visits and their results. He stated that the parties work to achieve the freedom of leader Ocalan was an essential duty. He said they are loyal and sympathetic to leader Abdullah Ocalan, and some of their administrators and leaders have come together in friendship with leader APO", and we have seen that their handling of this issue and their messages have been very valuable and important.

Proposals submitted

He explained that these visits had resulted from numerous proposals and actions undertaken by the parties, as follows:

"All parties must reach out to the world's forces in order to meet the demand for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan for all.

The Arab parties will cooperate with the authorities, personalities and deputies of the Arab States in the Middle East for the cause of leader Ocalan.

The Syriac and Assyrian parties will develop relations with parties outside North and East Syria to convey the popular demand for the physical freedom of leader Ocalan through them."
