Feminist emphasis on escalating the struggle until achieving leader’s physical freedom

Women from the city of Ad-Darbasiyah condemned the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and denounced the extension of “disciplinary penalties” against him.

Citizen Hamrin Omar said: “The Turkish occupation state continues to cut off communication with Leader Abdullah Ocalan by imposing isolation on him, with the aim of weakening the will of the people to return from their approach,” and stressed: “They will not be able to break our will.”

As for the young woman, Aya Abbas, she explained: “The theses of Leader Abdullah Ocalan are the solution to the issues of the Kurdish people and all peoples.”

She stressed: "Just as Leader Abdullah Ocalan believed in his people, we also believe in him and we will follow his thought and philosophy until victory is achieved."

For her part, citizen Badia Arabo pointed out that: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan fought for the freedom of his people and spread free democratic thought throughout the world, and that the silence of international forces and human rights organizations is to silence the voice of the people demanding the physical freedom of their leader.”

She said: "The Turkish occupation state practices a policy of repression, and puts everyone who demands the freedom of its people and believes in their cause in prisons, such as the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the detainees of the Kobani case."

She demanded: "Human rights organizations take urgent action for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, because isolation for Leader Abdullah Ocalan is isolation for society."

In her turn, citizen Salma Abdel Rahman affirmed: “We will remain in the squares and continue the struggle in the manner of leader Abdullah Ocalan until his physical freedom is achieved.”

The Turkish occupation state continues to violate international laws and conventions regarding the rights of leader Abdullah Ocalan, as it took a new decision to extend the so-called “disciplinary penalties” against him, preventing him from communicating with the outside world for another 6 months. This decision was met with great popular discontent in North and East Syria.
