Al-Jazeera Tempest advances, liberated village, 3 hamlets

In the framework of the last stage of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign which was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), they liberated al-Fakka village that is located 15 kilometers south of al-Shadadi area, in addition to liberating three hamlets in the vicinity of the village from IS mercenaries.

DEIR EZ-ZOR

The campaign which was resumed by the Syrian Democratic Forces continues in its final stage after it had stopped for a period of time due to the Turkish aggression on Afrin. As part of this campaign, SDF fighters are advancing south of Deir ez-Zor and south of al-Hasakah. The campaign progressed on Tuesday 4 km south of al-Hasakah, and through which the campaign headed towards the village of al-Fakka south of al-Shadadi after fierce battles and clashes erupted against the mercenaries, and despite all the recent attempts to block the campaign by laying mines intensively, SDF managed to enter the village and clean it from the mercenaries in addition to liberating other 3 hamlets that are related to the village.

Furthermore, the campaign is still ongoing, and it aims to eliminate IS in the entire countryside of Deir ez-Zor and south of al-Hasakah.
