As-Suwayda supports, stands in solidarity with SDF agreement in Damascus

Today, the city of As-Suwayda witnessed a solidarity stand and support for the agreement concluded between the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and the head of the Damascus Authority, Ahmed al-Sharaa, in al-Karamah Square in the center of the city, raising banners reading "Syria is united for all Syrians", and "From al-Jazira to the coast, from north to south, the Syrian people are one".

The participants in the stand called for rejecting sectarianism: "Syria has been united and there is no longer a north or south, but it has become one entity under one flag, the flag of the Syrian Republic".

Osama Bashnaq, one of the participants in the stand, said: "From al-Karamah Square, we stood for a minute of silence in mourning for the souls of the victims and innocents from our people on the coast, and from members of the security forces".

He added: "Today we celebrate the great victory day, which was achieved thanks to the historic agreement between the free Kurds, represented by Mr. Mazloum Abdi and Mr. Ahmed al-Sharaa. This agreement, if it indicates anything, indicates the desire of the free Syrians for the unity of land and destiny. We are one people, and we only want all Syrian lands to return under the cloak of one homeland."

He continued: "We will visit the Kurdish areas, and we will congratulate them, one indivisible people. A special salute to the people of the north for their steadfastness and sacrifices, and we appreciate all the free people in all parts of Syria for this great victory."
