Manbij: March 8th is day of struggle, steadfastness of women

Dozens of women, representatives of the Young Women’s Union, fighters from the Manbij Military Council, the Women’s Council, and the Martyrs' Families gathered at the Martyrs' Shrine, as part of a series of events on International Women's Day.

During the gathering, the statement issued in this regard and was read by the administrator of the Young Women’s Union, Samar Hazouri.

The statement praised the resistance and steadfastness of women in the regions of northeast Syria, and their relentless struggle for their rights, noting that the eighth day of March is a day of struggle and steadfastness of women.

The statement added: "Today's women try to stand up again and see their resistance in northeast Syria. She is not only a mother, sister and a housewife. She has become the military who took up arms with the man, she is the political and economic one that worked in all fields."

Yemen ... Women still suffer tragedies

 "A woman is still fighting at home and in society, the male mentality and the special wars."

At the end, the participants lit candles on the shrines of martyrs.
