The forum was divided into 2 sessions; the first entitled "The reality of women and society's negative views towards women and their impact on women's struggle" and the second entitled "The role of women in autonomous administration and the importance of developing the achievements of the women's revolution".

The forum was moderated by Deputy of the Jazera Canton Women's Body Hwayda Mohamed, Co-Chair of the Jazera Canton Executive Council Vevyan Kicho, Co-Chair of the Peoples' Democratic Council of the Jazera Canton Malla Ahmed and Co-Chair of the Qamishlo City Council Rohat Khalil.

Murders of women in the world

A member of the Relations and Democratic Alliance Committee at the Kongra Star, Roken Ahmed, pointed to the struggle of women in history and pointed out that no women's revolution has achieved gains and achievements similar to the Rojava revolution and highlighted the targeting of women, saying: "The impact of wars in the Middle East is very different, as women are the first to be targeted in these war. But on the other hand, the 21st century witnessed a leap for women's freedom, the dominant mentality and the system realize that women play a leading role, so they always target them, for example, during wars, women are tortured, kidnapped, killed and raped, and rape crimes are increasing in both Sudan and Ukraine, and this is considered genocide of women (Femeside: femicide of women), and during wars population displacement, demographic change and occupation take place, and after displacement, a special war begins, as they use prostitution and drugs against women in camps."

Use of Islamism against women

Roken Ahmed explained that during the last century, the occupying countries have been using political Islam against women and said: "They seek to eliminate women's gains in this way, they know the great impact of religion in the Middle East, for example, the Taliban threaten women daily, seeking to eliminate women's struggle, and witness Iran the growth of women murders under the name of Islamism, for example, during the last 6 months, 254 women were sentenced to death, and Tunisia efforts to transform legal rights into a The right of Sharia, and all these measures are against women's achievements, and women in our region are under attack, but on the other hand, we are fighting against that, and of course, our institutions must work more and provide awareness training."

"Just as we defeated ISIS, we will eliminate patriarchal mentality as well"

Hamren Ali, member of the coordinator of the Women's Council in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, stated that the Rojava revolution is a revolution of 'women, life, freedom' and said: "Women have played a leading role in all institutions of the Autonomous Administration, as the percentage of women's representation is 50 percent, and women during the revolution fight and develop the revolution as well, but we still suffer from the influence of the male mentality, and we have to put an end to that. We will establish institutions to prevent murder and torture, we need more education and awareness, and all our attempts will be based on this basis, and just as we defeated ISIS, we will eliminate this patriarchal mentality as well, we will seek to strengthen the women's economy, and we will entrust the issue of killing and torture of women to international institutions."

The forum concluded with suggestions from the attendees:

· Training all segments of society and raising their awareness of the need to strengthen women's struggle.

· Intensify efforts to strengthen women's economy.

· Application of women's laws.

· Strengthening relations between women's institutions in the world.
