Illustrated biography of Leader Ocalan read to martyrs' children
The illustrated biography of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, featuring his autobiography and excerpts from his struggle, was read to the children of martyrs in the city of Girkê Legê.
The Scottish writer, Sean Michael Wilson, who lives in Japan, prepared the first illustrated book about the life of leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been imprisoned under strict isolation conditions in Imrali Prison for 25 years.
The book is titled "Freedom Will Triumph: The Life of Abdullah Ocalan in Brief" and contains illustrations by Kurdish artist Kiko, who lives in Spain.
The book has been published in German and Turkish, translated into the Kurdish Kurmanji dialect by the Şilêr Publishing House, and printed at the Şehîd Herekol Printing Press.
The Union of Intellectuals in the Jazera Canton presented the book during a ceremony held on April 3rd to celebrate the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan and distributed it to attendees.
Reading of the book to martyrs' children
The reading of the book, which has been greatly appreciated by the children of martyrs in Girkê Legê, began today, organized by the Martyrs' Families Council in Girkê Legê.
The program, attended by 14 children, will continue for three days.
