The media center of the Internal Security Forces published a report on its official website about the removal of the mortar shell from agricultural lands east of Deir ez-Zor.

The center stated: "In response to a report submitted by a citizen on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 14, to one of our security centers regarding the presence of a shell left from the targeting by mercenaries supported by the Syrian regime in an agricultural field in the town of Al-Sabha, our forces immediately formed a joint patrol with explosives experts and headed to the location described in the report. An exclusion zone was established around the shell, and civilians were moved away to ensure their safety."

The center added, "Explosives experts then inspected the shell and found it to be an unexploded mortar shell. The experts removed it and thoroughly checked the agricultural land to ensure it was free of any other explosive devices."

The center emphasized, "Our forces urge citizens not to approach suspicious objects that may pose a danger to their lives and to immediately report any strange or suspicious objects to our security centers.”
