The Secretary-General of the Al-Waad al-Sadiq Corps, Mohammad al-Tamimi, issued a statement, in which he announced his rejection of the military and honest agreement signed by the Iraq with Turkey, stressing that "the signing of this agreement is an imposition of the Turkish occupier will on the Iraqi forces."

"Once again, the government fails to maintain the sovereignty of Iraq and is subject to another occupying power, which threatens and terrorizes the security of Iraq and its people," Tamimi said.

He considered that the Iraqi government puts itself in a weak position that contradicts diplomatic norms and traditions, and pointed out: "The government does not realize that by signing the agreement it has abandoned its sovereignty of its country, and entrusted those who do not have the right to sell its sovereignty cheaply."

Al-Tamimi stressed that the signing of the agreement today is an imposition of the will of the Turkish occupier on the Iraqi forces under the name of coordination and legitimizing the occupation of Bashiqa in a governmental manner, to support the interests of Turkey and its endless ambitions in Iraq.

"The Iraq forces that took out the ISIS do not need training from the army and the state that facilitated the arrival of foreign fighters to ISIS," al-Tamimi said.

Mohammad al-Tamimi confirmed his rejection of the presence of 140 Turkish military barracks in the Iraq, "and daily shelling of villages in northern Iraq with the approval of the governments of Baghdad and Erbil".
