The women's resistance under the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom" in East Kurdistan and Iran, which erupted following the killing of the young Kurdish woman Jina Amini on September 16, 2022, continues against the unfair decisions and rulings against them.

This resistance has gained widespread international solidarity, especially among women, especially in Rojava and North and East Syria, where Hanan Shamo blessed this resistance and denounced the unfair decisions and death sentences against female activists in Iranian prisons.

The recent decision by the Iranian authorities to execute activist Sherifa Mohammadi, and Kurdish women's rights activist and journalist Bakhshan Azizi, has angered women, activists and journalists who have denounced the decision and demanded its immediate halt.

On Monday (August 12), the Women's Media Union in North and East Syria launched the "No to Executions" campaign in protest against the death sentences in Iranian prisons.

In a statement, the union called on human rights organizations, women's movements, and organizations concerned with journalism and journalists to support and join the campaign, which will continue until August 19.

In this regard, Hanan Shamo, the citizen from the city of Çil Agha in the Jazira Canton, expressed her full solidarity with women in Eastern Kurdistan and Iran in their historic struggle against the authoritarian regime.

Shamo stressed that this historic struggle of women, whether in Rojava, NE Syria or in Eastern Kurdistan is derived from the thought of leader Abdullah Ocalan, the first companion of women and the owner of the philosophy of "Women, Life, Freedom."

Susan Ramadan, the citizen from the city of Çil Agha, described the regime in Iran as "dictatorial" that practices "a policy of gagging" on Iranian society, especially women, adding, "The murders and death sentences against them are only part of its mentality."

Ramadan stressed that women's will is capable of destroying and ending all authoritarian regimes.

"We support women's resistance against oppressive male regimes wherever they are and in any geographical area."

For her part the citizen Mayada Ramadan from the city of Çil Agha, said that women's struggle is derived from the thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, a supporter of women's liberation and a companion on their path to achieving their freedom.

"Women's resistance in Eastern Kurdistan and Iran will bring about radical changes to their reality, and they will not remain imprisoned in the home and authority as before."
