KNK congratulates Kurds on 24th anniversary of its founding

The Executive Council of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) published a written statement on the occasion of the twenty-fourth anniversary of its founding.

The text of the statement read:

"Despite all the hardships and obstacles, the Kurdistan National Congress completed 24 years and entered its twenty-fifth year with a solid will, courage and unparalleled efforts and with the support of its members, friends and partners, in the stage of toil and struggle of the people of Kurdistan over a period of 24 years without interruption, it is certainly an honor and respect, it must That the toil and struggle for national unity and cohesion continue, and there is no doubt that our work and struggle to build a unified national diplomacy and provide the appropriate ground for friendly relations between peoples has reached an important and valuable level.

The conference held all its conferences and public meetings in a methodical and successful manner previously, and at this stage of its twenty-four years, it organized dozens of conferences and intensive technical meetings in international institutions and parliaments of many countries on the problem and issue of Kurdistan.

The conference contributed to holding thousands of internal and international diplomatic meetings, with the aim of building an arena for presenting and supporting the issue of Kurdistan. It organized dozens of conferences, consultative meetings, and internal dialogues at the national level, and became a bridge between Kurdish and Kurdish parties, institutions, personalities, and ethnic and religious groups in Kurdistan. All these actions and events were carried out through The constant toil and struggle of the members and friends of the conference, and it is also worth noting that there was no national organization like (KNK) in the history of the Kurds and Kurdistan before that toiled and struggled for 24 years continuously, without a doubt it was not without many shortcomings until it reached the level What we all want, we are well aware that we are going through a very harsh and difficult situation, and for this reason we always need to develop and make the necessary changes in the Kurdistan National Congress, so that it can meet the needs of our people and solve their problems.

In order for the conference to become stronger and to be able to play its role and perform its national tasks better, there is a need for continuous and strong effort and struggle, there is a need for insight and strategic visions, and there is a need for all the people of Kurdistan to cooperate with each other despite all their differences.

The Kurdistan National Congress, as an important platform and channel for the struggle in the liberation work of the people of Kurdistan, has always been supportive of the toil and struggle of the people of Kurdistan throughout the country.

We congratulate the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) on all our people, on the martyrs of the path of freedom and independence of Kurdistan and humanity and their noble families, and on all the members who made a valuable and great effort at the beginning of the founding, and all the current members of the Kurdistan National Congress who work with all honesty and sincerity in the fields of struggle and resistance, for all Kurdish detainees, and for the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who is credited with establishing the Kurdistan National Congress because of his suggestions and efforts, as it was his first demand in prison when he spoke to his lawyer; "Hasten to achieve national unity," and also to all freedom fighters, to Guerrilla, the Peshmerga, and the People's Defense Forces.
