VDC: 20 kidnapped in occupied Afrin during July
The Violations Documentation Center (VDC) in North and East Syria published the names of 20 kidnapped by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state in the city of Afrin and its occupied villages
On Saturday the VDC in NE Syria revealed that 20 citizens were kidnapped by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state in the city of Afrin and its occupied villages, and the kidnappers demanded a financial ransom to set them free.
July 1, 2024:
The "National Army" mercenaries kidnapped the young Kurdish man, Rashid Samir Ali (24 years old), while leaving his shoe store in the city of Janders in the Afrin countryside, and demanded a financial ransom of 25 thousand US dollars for his release.
Mercenaries (Military Police) kidnapped two citizens from Afrin near Al-Taqwa bakery located on the road to the village of Tarnada. They are: Khalil Haj Ahmed (47 years old), from the town of Janders, and Muhammad Majeed (43 years old), from the village of Ain Hajra, in the city of Mobata. They were taken to an unknown destination.

July 2, 2024:
Ahrar al-Sham mercenaries stormed several homes in the city of Afrin and kidnapped 7 citizens, including Ahmed Muhammad, Rezan Muhammad, and Muhammad Bakr, and they were taken to an unknown destination.

Mercenaries (Military Police) kidnapped citizen Manan Sidhu (57 years old), from the village of Amara in the city of Mobata, in Afrin, after he filed a complaint to recover his house and shop, which had been seized by a mercenary from the “Sultan Murad Division” since 2018, after his return from Lebanon.
