KDP release activist after abducting, torturing him
An activist from the Change Movement was tortured after being abducted by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) authorities for defending the rights of citizens in S. Kurdistan.
Local sources from Hawler informed Roj News that the "Asayish" forces, affiliated with the KDP, kidnapped and tortured activist Sryas Ouni.
The Change Movement confirmed from its center in Hawler that the Asayish abducted Sryas Ouni in Hawler with excessive brutality and tortured him due to his advocacy for citizens' rights.
The same sources reported that he was released today in a deplorable condition after being assaulted by the Asayish.
