Lawyers of the Al-Asr office submitted a request to the Public Prosecutor Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate, to hold a meeting with their client, Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Lawyer Susan Akiba, Ibrahim Bilmez, Cengiz Yurkli and Imran Emekji all submitted a request to meet with their client.

The lawyer of the human rights office also submitted a request to meet with Omar Khayri Kunar, Hamili Yildirim and Weysi Aktaş, who are subject to strict isolation in Imrali prison.

On July 4, the Turkish authorities banned, again and for another 3 months, the meeting of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the three other detainees in Imrali with their families and lawyers, as no information has been received about the leader since March 2021.
