"Between July 19 and 20, our forces carried out special operations in the Mare' and Azaz regions in response to attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

 In this context:

* On July 19, our forces conducted a special operation in the Mare' area, targeting a point held by Turkish mercenaries from two axes. Our fighters managed to infiltrate the point and destroy it completely, causing significant losses to the mercenaries present. Our fighters were able to reach the body of one mercenary. As a result of this operation, a leader and 4 mercenaries were killed, 4 others were injured, and a military vehicle equipped with a DShK machine gun was damaged.

* On July 20, our forces conducted a special operation in the Azaz area, targeting a mercenary position. Our fighters managed to infiltrate the position and destroy it completely. They were also able to reach the bodies of several mercenaries and seize their weapons and ammunition. As a result of this operation, 6 mercenaries were killed, 3 others were injured, and 2 military vehicles were destroyed. We also seized 3 AK-47 rifles, a military pouch, 11 AK-47 magazines, a mobile phone, an HYT wireless device, a military bag, a night vision battery, and several AK-47 rifle cartridges.

As a result of these operations, 11 mercenaries, including one leader, were killed, 7 others were injured, and 2 military vehicles were destroyed while another was damaged. We also seized 3 AK-47 rifles, a military pouch, 11 AK-47 magazines, a mobile phone, an HYT wireless device, a military bag, a night vision battery, and several AK-47 rifle cartridges.

Following these impactful operations, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries indiscriminately and unethically shelled the Shahba areas, which include displaced persons from the occupied Afrin region and residents of the Shahba area. As a result of this shelling, several civilians were injured and their property was damaged. We, the Afrin Liberation Forces, clarify that our operations against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries will continue.”
