The so-called Local Forces Faction in Suwayda announced the detention of two non-commissioned officers from the Damascus forces in Suwayda. This comes after the escape of five officers and members who were being held by the faction yesterday during an operation that has been reported with conflicting information.

Sources from the Local Forces Faction told the website Al-Rased that one of their groups detained the two non-commissioned officers last night.

The sources added that this measure was taken in response to the security services' procrastination and avoidance of releasing their detainees.

The faction stated on Facebook that the detention of the two members is a continuation of the pressure on the case of the three detainees: Salman, Bahaa Al-Shaer, and Murhaf Al-Hanani. They also warned of further escalation operations.
