The joint head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Autonomous Administration of the North and East Syria, Jihan Muhammed said that the administration receives Idlib province displaced in its areas. There are 1,500 families. She confirmed that they are providing them with support and called on the humanitarian organizations to resume their work in the region and participate in providing support to the displaced.
The talk of the co-head of the Social and Labor Affairs committee, Jihan Muhammad, came during an interview with the reported of Hawar News Agency, about the Autonomous Administration's file of receiving Idlib displaced that is witnessing battles between the mercenaries and the regime forces.
" we received our displaced people from Idlib is a humanitarian duty, that our values and principles of our administration impose on us.in these severe conditions in particular, and the international and the countries that cause this tragedy," Jihan said.
" we provided all the facilities, and built a camp for them in south of Manbij on their desire for housing thousands of displaced; especially most of them are staying at rental houses or houses that are not habitable." She added.
Jihan pointed out that the camp was chosen to be in Manbij due to the big number of the displaced families there, while small numbers are in Al Raqqa and Al Tabeqqa.
About 1500 Idlib families entered through "Al Dadat "crossing to the areas of Manbij of the Autonomous Administration as Jihan stated.
The numbers are in constant increase as the result of the ongoing tensions in Idlib.
The co-head of the Social Affairs and Labor confirmed that they are providing the camp with basic needs of life from tents, blankets, drinkable water and furnished floors and protecting them too.
She noted that the Autonomous Administration haven’t got til this moment any response from operating NGOs in the region.
She ended her talk by calling on the NGOs to stop suspending their work and consider the situation of the displaced and providing aid for them.
Parts of Idlib province have been witnessing fighting between the regime and Turkey's mercenary groups since the 24th of the last Month, displacing nearly a million people from the region.
