"We to continue struggle, resist for liberating our leader"
The people of al-Hasakah canton and its districts and towns continued to struggle for the freedom of Ocalan. The people denounced the 9th October plot and said that Turkey had not succeeded in blocking out Ocalan's ideas.

A number of people from the districts of al-Dirbasiya, Serê Kanîyê, Tel Tamr and Zerkan talked to Hawar news agency during their participation in a mass demonstration that was organized on Monday in conjunction with the anniversary of the international conspiracy that affected the Kurdish People's leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The citizen Amel Merzo from al-Zerkan town denounced the plot that targeted Ocalan and said, "The day of October 9 is a black day for the Kurdish people. On this day, the NATO countries met to arrest our leader, the leader of thought and humanity."
While the citizen Shukriya Morad from Serê Kanîyê district said, "We are marching for the sake of the liberation of the leader and to remove the isolation on him, and we appeal to the public opinion to liberate this philosopher whose people is waiting for him."
For his part, Restum Bakr, a resident from al-Dirbasiya district sent a message to the leader and said, "We are your students, my leader. We will not be tired and bored and we will continue the struggle until it undermines the conspiracy that was waged by Turkey and the international countries against you."
Jamila Kaku who is from the Assyrian component in Tel Tamr said, "The leader was targeted through the 9th October plot. Turkey, by isolating the leader, did not achieve any result. If it arrested the leader physically, it could not block out his thoughts."
