With the wide participation of his fellow journalists, members of the Autonomous Administration of Şengal, and his relatives, the funeral of Murad Mirza Ibrahim, correspondent for Çira FM radio, took place today at the Qirayan cemetery in Şengal.

On July 8, a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle carrying journalists from Çira TV and Çira FM radio in Şengal district, resulting in serious injuries to journalist Murad Mirza Ibrahim, along with two of his journalist colleagues and three civilians.

The funeral ceremony witnessed a large attendance of his media colleagues, members of the Autonomous Administration of Şengal, and his relatives. The ceremony was marked by feelings of sadness and anger, with his colleagues placing a camera on his grave as a symbol of the continuation of his media and struggle message.

His colleagues pledged to continue the struggle against occupation and betrayal, emphasizing that the sacrifices of Murad and his colleagues would not be in vain, and that their message would remain alive in their hearts and daily work.
