IDPs Afrin condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and stressed the escalation of the struggle and activities until the leader’s physical freedom is guaranteed.
Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained in Imrali Island prison for 25 years, and no information has been received about him for more than 40 months. In this context, IDPs Afrin condemned the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan.
IDP, Ilham Sheikho, denounced the policies of isolation and torture imposed on the leader, and stressed, “We will stand in the face of the enemy and resist until the leader Abdullah Ocalan is liberated.” She called on international powers to break the silence shown towards the leader and the people’s demands for their physical freedom.
In her turn, the displaced woman Shiraz Ali stressed, “We will remain in the squares and escalate the struggle and activities until the leader’s physical freedom is guaranteed.”
IDP, Ahmed Arab, also denounced the policies of isolation and torture imposed on the leader and explained, “The leader is not only the leader of the Kurds, but rather he is the leader of humanity, and thanks to the July 19thRevolution, the Arab community also got to know the leader Abdullah Ocalan and his philosophy better.” He called for breaking the silence regarding isolation policies.
