The Change Movement Council in the Bahdinan area of S. Kurdistan issued a written statement regarding the ongoing attacks by the Turkish occupation army on the Medya defense areas and the displacement of Kurdish citizens from their land.

At the beginning of the statement, the movement condemned the Turkish occupation state's attacks on S. Kurdistan, emphasizing that the occupation of lands and the deployment of Turkish military forces and checkpoints represent a severe violation of the sovereignty of S. Kurdistan and Iraq.

The statement highlighted the necessity of swift action to confront the attacks and displacement operations carried out by the Turkish occupation state in S. Kurdistan, urging the expression of rejection and defense of the region, and called on the Kurdish and Iraqi parties not to remain silent.

In concluding the statement, the movement criticized the silence of the authorities in S. Kurdistan and Iraq, indicating that this silence implies acceptance of these attacks.

The Turkish occupation state, in collaboration with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, continues its attacks on the Medya defense areas and other regions in S. Kurdistan, both by land and air, using various types of weapons, including those internationally prohibited.

These extensive attacks coincide with the Turkish occupation state increasing its military forces and heavy equipment, movements, setting up checkpoints, and establishing new bases in the Dohuk countryside of S. Kurdistan, resulting in the displacement of residents from those villages.
