Babylon Movement: KDP allows Turkey to enter S. Kurdistan

The Secretary-General of the Babylon Movement, Rayan al-Kildani, denounced the Kurdistan Democratic Party's allowance of the Turkish army's entry into areas of S. Kurdistan, affirming that Turkey will not be able to penetrate Nineveh province or any part of Iraq under federal government control.

In a televised interview, Rayan al-Kildani stated, "The Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Hawler government allowed the occupying Turkish army to enter some areas in the Kurdistan Region." He added, "Turkey will not be able to enter Nineveh province, Mosul, or any part of Iraq under federal government control."

Rayan al-Kildani elaborated, "If the Turkish army reaches our areas in Nineveh, I will wear my military uniform and declare resistance." He emphasized that "the Turkish forces will not find a way to enter areas under federal government control" and stressed the importance of defending Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
