GIRÊ SPÎ

Kongra Star in Girê Spî canton organized a meeting for the members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s (DAA) institutions on the international conspiracy plotted against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan which began on October 9, 1998 and is still continuing until now at the People's House building in the city.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence, after which the details of the plot that targeted Ocalan were explained. The leader left Syria in 1998 and was arrested in 1999 and he has been subjecting to severe isolation for several years.

Peyman noted that the purpose of the plot was to eliminate the Kurdish Liberation Movement and to obliterate the Kurdish identity of the leader’s personality who sparked the struggle.

Peyman noted that the plot that targeted Ocalan was because of his thought and philosophy which drew the path of freedom for the peoples and salvation from the capitalist authoritarian regimes so this thought would harm their personal interests.
