KDP forces arrest press team as covering up Turkish incursions
Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) forces arrested a press team while it was covering up the attacks and incursions of the Turkish occupation into the territory of Southern Kurdistan.
Zoom Press Agency in Souther Kurdistan announced that the KDP in Amidiya detained a team of journalists affiliated with their agency as their coverage of the Turkish occupation’s attacks against Souther Kurdistan.
According to the agency, the reporter, Hajin Fattah, and the accompanying photographer, along with the driver of their car were arrested.
“The Kurdistan Regional Government(KRG) criminalizes journalists while it does not pay attention to murderers and corrupt officials" the Metro Center for the Protection of Journalists said.
