Syria's Democratic Council issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the massacre of Douma which chemical gases that are internationally banned were used and caused the martyrdom of dozens of civilians, and the statement included:

"Within the deals held at the expense of the Syrian people by the regional and international forces, the drama of killing and abusing against the unarmed civilians continues.

The tragedies of our Syrian people in various cities, especially in al-Ghouta and Afrin coincided with each other, and the violations continue by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against the remaining civilians in their homes in addition to the suffering of thousands of people from the forcing displacement.

The world has covered the most horrible photos from Douma which show the exposure of civilians to internationally and morally banned chemical gases which led to martyring dozens of civilians in this attack, to join the massacre of Douma to dozens of massacres committed against the Syrian land from Afrin to al-Ghouta.

We in Syria’s Democratic Council condemn whoever participated in this ugly massacre against our people in Douma. We ask the relevant international bodies and Human Rights organizations to work seriously to punish the criminals and to reduce the killing of Syrians of all races and affiliations.

We wish the speedy recovery for the wounded, the immortality for the martyrs, and the patience and solace for the victims' families.“
